Upgrade from BOB 4

BOB now has these prerequisites.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 8.0
  • SQL Server 2019 Express LocalDB
    • Our installer installs the latest BOB and these, if you need them.
    To upgrade:
    1. Backup your surveys
      2. Because, it keeps your data secure, but also, once you've upgraded your surveys you cannot share them with BOB 4 users unless you have your original BOB 4 backup files.
    2. Uninstall the old BOB
      3. Having two versions of BOB is not supported.
      Note: Uninstalling BOB does not remove your surveys
    3. Download and run BOBSetup.exe
    Offline installer
    BOB always works offline, but if you need to install it on a computer without a connection, download BOBOfflineSetup.exe and copy it to the computer where you need it to run.
